Just Missing You

I found some time while hubby was playing his silly video games, actually have quite a bit of time lately as I have been "temporarily" laid off because of state cuts. We will see if it is temporary or not :( Anyway I saw the amazing card over at CASE Study and I wanted to play along. I used the basic layout as my inspiration and these fun stamps from Hero Arts, so cute! Another quick and easy card! Thanks for popping by, have a great day! :)

Viva la Verve!

I'm back with my third post of the day! This is my fourth and final card for this month's Viva la Verve sketch challenges.

I used another sentiment from Verve's Blue Skies set. I just added a bow, and some stitching, another quick and simple card. I love the pink and green color combo and these beautiful papers. That's it for me today, thanks so much for stopping by! :)

I'm back with a card for this month's Verve Diva Dare challenge, which is Sentimental About Paper. Dig into your paper that you are hoarding and make a new card. I used one of the sketches from this month's Viva la Verve and this paper from DCWV that I have been hoarding for about a year now, lol. Both the sentiment and butterfly are from Verve's Blue Skies set.

You still have until July 31 to enter. I'll have one more card in a little while, see ya soon. :)

True Love

Hi! I've got a card using one of Laurie's sketches from this month's Viva la Verve. What a sweet sketch, and really pretty quick! I scored the card and added this gorgeous border punch. I cut out a heart and embossed and sanded it a little, super quick and easy. I'm working on another Viva la Verve sketch, hoping to get it posted today and hoping to get all four done this month. Thank you so much for popping by, have a wonderful day! :)

Just A Note

I had some time today before starting dinner and wanted to give this fabulous sketch over at Lily Pad Cards a try:The sponsor is The Craft's Meow, and I used this sweet bumble bee and sentiment from The Craft's Meow set, Happiness Is. I added a few dashes behind the bees, bee-cause of course they are flying ;) I used a little floss for some hand stitching to secure my ribbon, and that's it. Thank you so much for stopping by, have a wonderful week. :)

Flourishes has one more challenge for the new release, a Copy Cat Challenge. We get to CASE one of the DT's cards. I knew I would be picking my inspiration from Stacy, I have been an admirer her beautiful style for awhile now. I chose this gorgeous card to CASE here. All of the stamps on my card are from Flourishes Wedded Bliss set.

I also would like to enter the Anything Goes challenge at Simon Says Stamp.

We took the kids to see the final Harry Potter movie this morning, we all loved it. Kinda sad that it's all over, I think it's time to read the books again!

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a wonderful weekend.

I Love You Dad

I made this card using Flourishes Get Sketchy And win Sketch, it's release week! Both the image and sentiment are from Flourishes What A Catch set. I thought this guy looked like a rainbow trout, so that's how he was colored with my Prisma pencils, and my papers are from K & Co. I'm going to send this off to my Dad, no reason, just because.

I am also entering Simon Says Stamp's Anything Goes Challenge. This week's winner will receive a $50 voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Superstore!

Thank you so much for taking a peek, have a great day!

One Person

It's time for this month's Verve Get Your Diva On Challenge! One lucky winner will get to be Guest Diva in an upcoming release, receiving all the stamps for that release for free. If you have been to my blog before, you know how I love my Verve! This month Maureen is challenging us to use a gift card for inspiration. Sadly I don't have any, though I am in need of some retail therapy ;) so I used one of the cards that Maureen had. I chose this Michaels card, I love the flourishes and the elegant black, white, and red color combo.

I used some Inkadinkado damask stamps for my background, and one of my favorite Verve sets, One Person for the flower and sentiment. I stamped both the large and small flower and layered them with pop dot, and added some pale yellow flower soft in the center.

I would also like to enter this week's Simon Say Stamp Challenge, which is anything goes.

Thanks so much for popping by, have a great day!

Land Of The Free

Happy 4th of July! This is the first time that I've gotten the Mojo Monday sketch done on Monday, lol! I had the house to myself this morning, and while blog hopping I saw this sketch and knew I wanted to use my American Hero set from Verve. I used some stickles in the small stars on the sentiment panel, and it's not really showing up in the photo but I stamped stars on the kraft panel.

I am also entering the challenge at The Kraft Journal which is "Patriotic or American." Thanks for popping by, have a great night. :)

Friends Are So Refreshing

And crafting is so refreshing! It's been so long since I had a little time to get some crafting done. I had so much fun with this little cutie! She is from the Freeze The Moment set from There She Goes Stamps. I colored her with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. Jen has an awesome video tutorial here for coloring hair with the pencils. I'm pretty happy with her bangs, but not too happy with her curls. Oh well, time for more practice. :) I used last month's SFYTT, I'm too late for the challenge, but I wanted to use the fun sketch.

I am entering this week's challenge at There She Goes, which is A Challenge To Die For, you must use 3 different dies/punches. I am using 2 dies and one corner punch.

I am also entering this week's Wee Memories challenge with a theme of "Summertime" which is sponsored by There She Goes this week!

Well, that's it for me right now. Thanks so much for stopping by, have a fantastic weekend. :D
