A couple of There She Goes stamps

Hi! I just wanted to share a couple of cards I made using some There She Goes Stamps sets. I used Pumpkins On The Vine and Freeze The Moment, aren't the little girls just the cutest? They are both colored with Prisma color pencils. I would like to enter this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp, which is Anything Goes. These were both quick and pretty CAS, and I would like to also enter the coloring challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. Thanks for popping by! :)

Edited to add: Oops forgot to mention the giveaway for the Copic book here, ends at the end of the month! :)

Show Me

Hi there, happy Friday! I'm back with a quick post. We are going to the theme park here for the Halloween nights in a few minutes, I've never been so kinda excited to go! I have one more card for Flourishes challenges. This one is called Show Me, find a technique from one of Flourishes tutorials and give it a try. I chose this tutorial from Christine to add dimension. I chose a few petals to double stamp and pop up for dimension. The image is from the Paperwhites set and colored with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. Ok, that's it for me, off to the park!

Fine Herbs

Good morning! I have another card for one of Flourishes challenges this week. This one is the Heavy Metal Challenge, use some metal.

For my card I used Flourishes Fine Herbs set. I stamped images from the set in Versa Mark onto kraft, added some twine, and for my metal I used these cool copper upholstery brads from Making Memories that I've had for years.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great day! :)

Blessed to call you friend

Hi! I'm back with my second post today. It's release week at Flourishes, and oh my the new Christmas sets are gorgeous! With release week comes new challenges, this card is for the Name Game Challenge, use your monogram as your inspiration for your card. Mine is TAP. I had such a hard time thinking of something with the letter A. All I could think of is acrylic, but I don't have any, lol. Finally, I came up with:
T - tearing
A - antiquing
P - paint
I used this totally gorgeous set, Paperwhites and colored it with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. Then I tore the edges and inked them with Distress Inks, rolled a couple of corners and flicked on some watered down gray paint for an antiqued look.

Don't forget to check out the copy of The Copic Coloring Guide that I am giving away here. Thank you so much for popping by for a peek, have a great day!

Hope you can cling to ~ pink critters

Hi there! I have a card for one of the Hope You Can Cling To challenges over at the SCS forums. This challenge is to take any critter and turn it pink. I used this cute peacock from There She Goes Stamps Zoo-pendous set. The sketch is from last month's SFYTT and the image is colored with Prismacolor pencils with a little pink stickles too.

Well, that's it for now, don't forget to check out the copy of The Copic Coloring Guide that I am giving away here. Thanks so much for stopping by. :)

A little giveaway!

Hi there! No card today, but I do have a little giveaway. I picked up a few Copics to try something new, then I was lucky enough to win a copy of Copic Coloring Guide from Colleen Schaan. I received my book from Colleen, then a couple of weeks later I received another. Colleen said that I could go ahead and give away the second on my blog, how cool is that? Also this book is autographed by both Copic experts Colleen Schaan and Marianne Walker! So, all you have to do is leave me one comment here, it can be about anything you want, favorite book, movie, (I am always looking for something new), or just to say hi! I will let this run until the end of the month and will pull a random winner on November 1. Good luck! :)

Friends

Hi! I'm back with a second post today. This card is for Flourishes World Card Making Day Challenge, using the colors of your favorite cartoon character.

Well, I just love Sponge Bob, my kids started watching it when it first came out. I was like, a sponge, really? But I think it's really funny and I've even had it on while I'm the only one home, shhhhh, lol!

Anyway, for my colors I used kraft, yellow, blue, and red. For my image and sentiment, I am using Flourishes Windows to the World set , I love it, the images are beautiful. I used the gorgeous Dutch window, I adore tulips! I cut out the image and double stamped the shutters on kraft and dry brushed them with some acrylic paint to make them shabby. The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and OMS and my papers are from MME.

I am also entering the Mega Candy contest at Charmed Cards and Crafts, you add a link to a card that you colored in, check out the awesome prize up for grabs!

Thanks so much for popping by today, enjoy your weekend! :)

Just For You

Happy World Card Making Day! I was lucky enough to win some GORGEOUS Stampin' Up Goodies from Ann, thank you again! I broke out this awesome set, Elements of Style. I had been wanting to try a tile technique that I saw on SCS and this large stamp was perfect. I scored lines with my Scor-Buddy then stamped the image and inked around all the score lines. It was easy, fun, and I love the look! Ok, I'm off to make another card, I want to play along with Flourishes. See you soon! :)
